Weealla Merinos & Poll Merinos is owned and operated by the McBurnie family at Balladoran; we are situated 35km south from Gilgandra and 65km north from Dubbo just off the Newell Highway.

Weealla Merinos was originally registered after purchasing East Roseville stud ewes in 1993 we have introduced Glendonald 0.418, top price ram in 2002 and Roseville Park top price ram in 2005.

In 2005 Weealla was The Rabobank Landmark Australian Supreme Merino Ram, claiming the title of best Ram in Australia, judged against all other States winning rams. Weealla show at Sydney, Bendigo, Dubbo, and local shows winning many broad ribbons.   

Weealla Poll Merinos was originally,  Roxanna Poll, we purchased the entire Roxanna Stud in 2007; Roxanna has been established since 1967. Roxanna has a history of breeding top quality sheep winning many broad ribbons.
Weealla Merinos & Poll Merinos ,undertake extensive A.I. programs each year, to improve the depth and quality of our sheep. This year the two studs will combine and sell on the one-day 19th September 2009.
Due to demand and ever increasing sales, we will have more quality rams for you to select from this year.
