At the 2011 Bookham comparison trial (33 teams, under the same management conditions), the difference in wool value between the Greendale Team ($82.99) and the lowest ranked team ($45.08) was $37.91 per head.  On a 4000 head merino flock this would equate to $151,640 per year additional wool profit for the Greendale genetics.

In the 1996-2006 Merino bloodline comparison, Greendale Merinos gross margin/dry sheep equivalent (profit) was 18% above the average ranking them 3rd overall of the 222 bloodlines analysed from comparison trials at 63 sites across Australia.
